Sunday, January 17, 2021 will mark the 15th annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Redeeming the Prophetic Vision. This all volunteer-organized interfaith community event is brought to the community by The Conversation in partnership with Associated Ministries and Urban Grace Church. The event celebrates and renews Dr. Martin Luther King’s call for racial justice in all its uncompromising challenge to the associated forces of institutional racism, the forces responsible for the systemic impoverishment of the many and enrichment of the few, and the militarism that squanders so many lives to perpetuate that system. This year the event will be virtual but will still include speakers , cultural and artistic intergenerational performances, and interfaith homilies. Following the event a number of local social justice groups will have information available for how to become more involved in realizing MLK’s vision of a loving community.
You must register to get the event Zoom link. More information and registration here.
