Urban Grace invites you to join us for our Congregational Meeting and Holiday Potluck on Sunday, December 7, right after the 10:30 AM worship service. This gathering is a chance for us to practice shared leadership, connect with one another, and celebrate the year as we look toward what’s next.

Whether you’ve been here for years, you’re new, or you’re just getting to know Urban Grace, you’re welcome at the table.

What to Expect

After worship on Sunday, December 7th, we’ll stay in the sanctuary for our congregational meeting where we’ll share church updates and talk through key congregational topics. We’ll also be voting on a proposal to change our leadership term limits (both the language in our Constitution and in practice going forward).

Afterwards, we’ll share a holiday potluck lunch. Bring a favorite dish — a holiday recipe, a family dish, or something simple. Everything is appreciated and helps make the table feel full and abundant. We’ll also have a photo booth for you and your family to take photos for our new Urban Grace directory.

Childcare Provided
Childcare for Nursery-5th grade will be available during the meeting so parents and caregivers can fully participate after lunch.

Why This Gathering Matters
The Congregational Meeting is an important part of who we are as a community-rooted, ecumenical church. It’s where we make decisions together, celebrate the work of the past year, look ahead with hope, and strengthen our connections with each other.

It’s also simply a joyful time to eat together, celebrate the season, and experience belonging.
