We’re collecting: \nBackpacks\nNew socks\nNew men’s and women’s underwear\nWinter essentials such as beanies\, gloves\, and warm clothing \nYou can bring donations to Urban Grace (902 Market Street\, Tacoma) on Sundays or arrange a drop-off by emailing info@urbangrace.org. \nWe’re also answering an emergency call for non-perishable food donations to help neighbors impacted by recent SNAP benefit reductions. Creating safe\, joyful\, and nurturing spaces for kids is one of the most important ways we live out our mission of welcome and hospitality. \nThat’s why we’re excited to invite all new and returning volunteers to our upcoming Children’s Ministry Training on Sunday\, September 28 from 12–3 PM. This afternoon gathering is designed to help equip you with the tools\, confidence\, and support you need to serve children in our congregation and beyond. \nWhy Attend?\nLearn and Refresh: Whether you’re brand new or a long-time volunteer\, this training will cover best practices for creating safe\, welcoming spaces where kids feel loved and valued.\nBuild Community: Get to know others who share a passion for children’s ministry. Together\, we’ll grow as a team and strengthen the support network around our kids.\nPractical Support: Lunch and childcare will be provided so you can focus on the training without extra stress. \nRSVP Details\nTo join us\, please RSVP by emailing bianca@urbangrace.org.
