Join us for our new Wednesday night programming starting September 25th. Choose from a variety of weekly classes, experiences, and discussion groups. Pick one and stick with it or try out a new one each week–every class will be formatted for newcomers as well as repeat attenders. Children’s programming will also be provided for kids from birth-6th grade.
Children’s Programming: Led by Children’s Ministry Staff (Nursery & Rm. 208)
Every week there will be fun activities and community building for kids ages birth-6th grade. Please note that childcare will end promptly at 7:30pm.
Learning to Love the Bible: Led by Rev. Ben Robinson (Room 201, 2nd floor)
Has reading the Bible become a bit stale? Do you ever wonder why Jesus seems loving one minute and angry the next? Ben will lead a discussion on the text he is preaching on that Sunday and together you’ll explore how you go from ancient stories to theologies of liberation, justice, and peace.
The Big Conversation: Race: Led by Rev. Abigail Vizcarra Perez (Library, 1st floor)
Abigail will lead an open and honest discussion on the topic of race, equity, and how you can support those who our society has marginalized.
Rotating Life Topics: Led by Rev. Lesley Paine and Other Staff & Congregational Facilitators (Chapel, 1st floor)
Every first Wednesday of the month the discussion will be around topics of Parenting, every third Wednesday will be focused on a Spiritual Practice. Second and fourth Wednesdays will have various topics or experiences such as art, faith & doubt, gender, etc.
Bible Study & Potluck: Led by Rev. Tom Paine (Parlor, 1st floor)
Tom Paine leads this long-standing group through a traditional Bible study tackling one book at a time. This Fall they will focus on Genesis. Potluck beforehand starts at 6pm.
